WELCOMING ADDRESS

ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL 'ALAMEEN, WASSALATU WASSALAMU 'ALAA ASYRAFIL MURSALEEN SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADIN, WA 'ALAA AALIHIE WASAHBIHIE AJMA'EEN

With Allah’s will, I would like to convey my great appreciation to the EXCO members especially Media and Press Release committee, providing the opportunity for me to say my forewords.

First and for most, CONGRATULATION to all executive members of JAPTIM 2015-2017, for the appointment and the entrust given by all the principals and Deputy Principals of  all  secondary schools and colleges in Brunei Darussalam.

It is my great pleasure to lead JAPTIM, to be known as ‘ The committee of Principals & Deputy Principals’, even though I’m new to the world of principal. Being a co-leader which I used to be as a Deputy Principal of Administration is significantly different from being a leader to a school. The success and the achievement of the school is in the hand of so called a great school leader. Hence, I do hope my dream will come through as a transformational leader and will be able to lead JAPTIM efficiently and effectively as its role.

We have a bigger role to shoulder in JAPTIM, as co-assistance to department of schools and the ministry as a whole would wanted to move forward as ONE team to achieve ONE vision and direction, in line with the Ministry of Education’s expectation.

I do hope our JAPTIM 2015-2017’s team can provide adequate programmes apart from school-based programmes, cluster programmes as well as from the Brunei Darussalam Teachers Academy (BDTA) for all school leaders and the management team. I wish JAPTIM may lay out  programmes that suited and designed for the needs and development of all the community of leaders in the school which applies to daily working life situation. Hence, at the same time, we can build and enhance rapport amongst new young leaders and the seniors for developing good relationship as well as gaining experience. 

Prior to integrating JAPTIM and JAPSER, I do hope we are able to execute our planning as much as possible although the merging is in the pipeline.

With this website, all members of JAPTIM will have the opportunity to provide the current  and up-to date information for all users and readers especially the community of Ministry of Education, and stakeholders as whole. It is a platform for us to expose, exchange ideas and gain knowledge to be more vibrant and move forward as a leader of tomorrow.

Once again, I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to all members of JAPTIM and EXCO JAPTIM 2015-2017 for the continuous support, contribution, and commitment in our professionalism for the growth of challenging education.
